Drake is a veteran musician and that is exactly why younger rappers such as Kodak Black want him as a mentor. He also has a lot of interests outside of making music and that includes expanding his businesses. Now it seems his look-a-like got the free pass to book gigs in his name.

Finally, after months of anticipation, Drake dropped ‘Certified Lover Boy’ on September 3rd. It has taken over the Hip-Hop world as expected and ended up smashing Spotify streaming records as well.

As many fans are aware by now, Drake has his own look-a-like named Izzy. Fake Drake has been making news almost all the time, as he even performs Drake’s songs in Miami clubs.

While speaking to No Jumper, Fake Drake claimed that he is a Toronto native like the real Drake and added that he is free to book gigs in his name. Izzy even added that he might need security.

“People DM me, like, ‘Do you want to come to my event? We can’t pay Drake because he’s too expensive,” said Izzy, adding that promoters have paid anywhere from $5K for him to just show up to the event. They also cover his traveling and accommodations. “I’ve been doing my thing, you know. That’s all I’m gonna say.”

Drake said that it didn’t bother or affect him, so “let the guy get his bag.”

It seems Fake Drake has made a name for himself in the best way possible. With the real Drake seemingly having no issues with what is going on, it seems Fake Drake is in for a great time.
