The billionaire space race has been in full swing for a while now, and Jeff Bezos has been at its forefront. Recently, Bezos has made some monumental predictions about the future of space travel.

While speaking at the Ignatius Form in D.C., Bezos suggested that humans will be living in outer space in the future, and planet Earth will turn into more of a vacation destination.

Over centuries, many people will be born in space, it will be their first home.

Bezos conjured up a description of massive cities floating in space, complete with forests, rivers, and wildlife. He also stated that the manufacturing of goods will take place in outer space.

These are certainly incredible statements, that seem to be straight out of science fiction. However, given Bezos’ success as a businessman, perhaps his claims have some truth to them.

Bezos also took a shot at fellow space travel enthusiast, Elon Musk, when he stated that floating cities are far more likely than settlements on Mars. These certainly are interesting times we live in.
