Jay-Z has a pretty great track record with life. He wins a lot and this is no different for Hov.

Jigga left a Manhattan courthouse on Wednesday afternoon a happy man. He was smiling because a judge ruled that he didn’t breach any contract in his endorsement deal with Parlux Fragrances and Gold by Jay-Z.

Billboard reports that the ruling allows Hov to avoid that $67 million in damages that they were trying to nail him for. The judge didn’t allow a cash reward for anyone involved. Jay-Z didn’t win any money ether, but that is probably okay by him.

Jay-Z’s countersuit for $6 million in royalties was thrown out, but the bigger deal was dodging that $67 million claim on his own head. Now he is free and clear and both sides can walk away.

“You failed to prove your case, they failed to prove their case,” Justice Andrew Borrok reportedly stated to Parlux’s legal team following the verdict. “You’re excused,” he concluded.

We will continue monitoring Jay-Z’s ongoing involvements right here at Thirsty.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
