Canelo Alvarez Has No Intention Of Facing Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round of his UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier. Since then McGregor has been on a path of destruction that resulted in McGregor saying a lot of controversial remarks. It seems Canelo Alvarez commented on possibly facing Conor McGregor.

Conor McGregor previously made headlines at MTV’s Video Music Awards after he got involved in a scuffle with Machine Gun Kelly while Megan Fox was still with Kelly. Recently, Conor McGregor was accused of punching Francesco Facchinetti, a celebrity DJ in Rome and breaking his nose in the process.

The DJ then stated that he will be filing a lawsuit against McGregor. McGregor was even called white trash for the incident. It was then revealed that charges were indeed filed against Conor McGregor.

While speaking with BT Sport, boxing legend Canelo Alvarez was asked whether he would be interested in squaring off against Conor McGregor in a boxing match. Alvarez shot down the idea and made it clear he has no interest whatsoever.

“Oh my god, no. Don’t try man, don’t try.”

McGregor is expected to be out of action for a year as he is set on returning as soon as possible. We will have to wait and see whether Conor McGregor will respond to the charges meted out against him as well.
