Donald Glover’s TV series Atlanta has been touted as one of the best shows in recent memory. Earlier this year, fans were believed the show predicted Justin Bieber’s ‘Justice’ album. It seems Glover deleted racially charged tweets recently.

Recently, Donald Glover noticed how Lil Dicky’s show ‘Dave’ is at the same level as Atlanta and it seems Glover wasn’t a fan of this notion. Glover took to Twitter and in a series of racially charged tweets, he spoke his mind.

However, Donald Glover would later delete the tweets. Despite that, fans made sure to take screenshots of the tweet and that is not going to change.

“And just for the record, I’m watching y’all saying ‘Dave’ is on par [with Atlanta]. Like y’all forgot what we did. No disrespect.

We got black people on here debating which is better and I’M the sellout?”

While speaking to the New York Times earlier this year, Lil Dicky addressed the comparison between his show and Donald Glover’s show. He stated that the two shows are far too different to be compared.

“I’m a big fan of that show, I think it’s a great show. I feel like they’re very different shows.” When the interviewer responded, “I can’t think of two more similar shows. That’s crazy. When I hear it, I don’t feel offended I feel complimented. I think they’re very different. I think our show is trying to be funny — a lot more jokes. Theirs is just the tonal brilliance. I see them as different shows.”

Atlanta is more of a serious show which also has a lot of comedic undertones. On the other hand, Dave is more of a comedy show. The second season of Atlanta aired in 2018, and the third is set to air in the “first half” of 2022. We will have to wait and see how it will be received by fans and critics alike.
