We’re not sure whose line it was, but Colin Mochrie wasn’t about to crack any improvised jokes. He was ready to fight.

Video obtained by TMZ shows the usually jovial funnyman brawling with a fan. A VHS tape is even used as a weapon in combat at one point.

The 63-year-old actor, best known from Whose Line Is It Anyway, was approached for an autograph by a fan in Beverly Hills on Monday afternoon. The incident took a turn for the worse and a brawl took place. Although the violence was intense, it’s still unclear what sparked the chaos.

This fight was not only unexpected, but it was wild too. At one point this fan tried to use the VHS tape he wanted signed to whack Colin over the head. Colin was able to duck, but then he took the weapon and went ham.

This was a bit of a strange scene, and an awkward one as well. Then again, it’s always unusual when a Canadian gets all aggressive like that. Colin’s camp has not responded any request to comment, but you can check out the video below.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
