Snoop Dogg is a veteran in the Hip-Hop world and is considered as a collective “Uncle” by many in the Hip-Hop community. This simply goes to show how universally loved and respected he truly is. Now it seems Snoop Dogg apparently saved Warren G in a big way.

Snoop Dogg being a veteran, is certainly not afraid to show his appreciation and give the rub to newer rappers of the Hip-Hop world. He has done so on various occasions throughout his career.

The rapping legend was appointed the Executive Creative and Strategic Consultant at Def Jam earlier this year during the summer. It seems Snoop Dogg is certainly having a blast in his new role.

While speaking to The Breakfast Club, he gave a lot of praise to Def Jam. He also revealed a secret dealing he had with Warren G and Def Jam when the “Regulate” rapper was working on his album. This helped him save Warren G from Suge Knight.

“First of all, I’m a fan of Def Jam Records. As a rapper, as a kid, as a man. I just miss the mystique of Def Jam Records and what it meant to Hip Hop and what it was all about. They were like, the epitome of what Hip Hop was supposed to be.

My pen had something to do with that. Like I said, my pen had something to do with that. We was trying to protect the homie from Suge Knight at the time, Suge was taking everything so we wanted to make sure Warren G had a dope record without him being able to get it, so we silently, me and Kurupt and a few others, went to work for Warren G to make sure that his record could be what it was.”

Snoop Dogg also recently made it clear he will introduce Martha Stewart to Eminem. Snoop Dogg and Eminem are also said to be working on a new project together. We will have to wait and see when exactly Snoop Dogg will introduce Martha Stewart to Eminem.
