The internet is having a hard time trying to figure out the love life of Chris Evans. The Avengers star recently added fuel to fire when he posted a video of himself doing a rendition of “Purple Rain” on the piano, according to Pope Culture.
Several eagle-eyed fans were able to spot a reflection of a woman on the piano, sparking the rumors that the actor might have been hanging out with rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez at the time the video was taken.
Some even suggested it might have been the alleged female who recorded Evans playing the classic on the piano. While many said they never noticed the purported reflection in the first place, others thought they were seeing the piano’s keys in the reflection.
The rumors came to light after both Evans and Gomez were seen leaving the same studio in October. The “It Ain’t Me” songstress had previously gushed about Captain America himself, admitting she had a crush on Evans.
Gomez was involved in a high-profile relationship with Justin Bieber. The two dated on and off for several years before officially partying ways in 2018. Evans, on the other hand, last dated comedian and actor Jenny Slate.
