The 2019 film Avengers: Endgame saw the ending of many story arcs for several main characters, as it served as a conclusion to the story of the MCU up to that point. Marvel fans would be excited to know that there is an auction going up which will see an important memorabilia from the movie being sold.

Chis Evans’ Captain America prop shield from the movie Avengers: Endgame is going up for auction as it would be sold by Hake’s Auctions. In the video promoting the auction, we can see that the shield has been officially verified by paperwork by MCU prop master Russel Bobbitt. Here is the description of the shield:

Hake’s Auctions is proud to offer Chris Evans’ screen-used hero prop shield from Avengers: Endgame in Auction #233. Constructed by Marvel Studios Senior Prop Master Russell Bobbitt, the shield is 24″ in diameter, approximately 3″ deep and is constructed of high density foam, with a spun aluminum exterior and hand-crafted leather arm and hand straps on the interior. 30 to 40 shields were produced for Endgame, but this example was used for close-up shots in Evans’ hand as it shows the most detail and its spun aluminum surface exhibits a mesmerizing metallic sheen. The other prop shields made for Endgame were used in long shots and action sequences, lasting one or two scenes before sustaining damage from use associated with stunt work. This shield was handled with care on set so it could be utilized in multiple scenes, making this shield’s near pristine condition an even rarer feat.

If you are a Marvel fan who wants the Captain America shield for themselves, you need to hurry because the auctions ends on November 3. As of now, there are 6 total bids for the shield with the current bid sitting at a whopping $45,000.

We don’t know how much will the Captain America shield fetch when the auction ends. Since there are man die-hard Marvel fans out there, it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that the bid could go even higher than 45k.
