The Rock is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment history. That moniker makes him ripe for impressions and WWE Superstar Carmella had her own take on The People’s Champion.

Carmella dropped a video online of her Dwayne Johnson impression. She didn’t think he would actually see it, let alone reply. In fact, The Rock did slide into her DMs to let her know just how much he loved it. Johnson even provided Carmella with some tips so her next impression will be spot-on.

While speaking to After The Bell, Carmella told the entire shocking story.

“I decided to be The Rock. I think I nailed it. The Rock messaged me on Instagram. He was very complimentary.  I couldn’t even believe it.  My mind was blown. He said, ‘Oh my God.  That was so funny.’  He was giving me tips.  He said, ‘The cadence on that is not easy.’  He started cutting a promo.  I don’t fangirl that much. The amount of people we meet in this business is like, ‘Oh yea, it’s just another day.’ For The Rock to recognize me, I was like, ‘What is happening right now?’”

The Rock is known to surprise people with his greatness. He gets a real kick out of sneaking up on tour buses in Hollywood just to ask “Has anyone seen The Rock?” Obviously, he realizes how much happiness he brings people.

Carmella will keep doing her thing in the ring and on social media. Odds are it will take a pretty big event to top getting a DM from The Brahma Bull.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
