Jason Momoa isn’t afraid to put himself into a part and sometimes that means he takes an extra risk. Aquaman can be a physical character to play and Momoa suffered some injuries in the process.

While speaking to The Ellen Show, Momoa revealed that he messed up his eyes, he was cut up, and he has a hernia because of that DC character role. This is quite a serious list of injuries all in the name of playing the legendary Justice League member.

“I’m getting old. I messed up my eyes. I just got something in it that kinda cut it up, and then I’ve gotta get surgery, I have a hernia, I’ve got ribs out. I’m just getting beat up.”

Momoa also made it very clear that Aquaman 2 is “going to be a great movie.” He certainly seemed to have gone through a lot to put it all together.

Aquaman 2 included risks, but the reward was likely well worth it. Now we will have to see if that affected his performance when the film finally drops.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
