Squid Game Breaks Huge Record On Netflix

Squid Game has become one of the most watched shows on Netflix. After sensations like Money Heist and Stranger Things, Squid Game has become another Netflix original to skyrocket in popularity. For the record, LeBron James is not a fan.

The South Korean survival drama has become a meme as well, and it’s doing immensely well. It is now being reported that the show has grossed more views than 111 millions views, which is an astounding record.

Netflix has released many successful series before Squid Game. Bridgerton, Lupin, The Witcher have all been successful Netflix projects. However, only Squid Games has been capable of having such a massive response.

Korean entertainment has rising through the ranks after Parasite became an Oscar winner in 2020. Squid Game has solidified the place as one of the best series ever, grabbing the #1 spot in 90 countries on Netflix merely 10 days after its debut.
