Nicki Minaj is involved in yet another controversy. Pablo The Don brought attention to Nicki when defending Jesy Nelson against blackfishing and making fun of singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock. Now TikTok is getting involved.

The Queen rapper tried to defend Jesy Nelson, because the former Little Mix singer faced accusations of blackfishing and using a blaccent during her career. Nelson, a white woman, is accused of adopting behaviors from Black culture, and she spoke out about this.

Nelson admitted that she loves Black culture and Black music. Then Nicki Minaj came forward to slam critics.

A popular music TikToker uploaded a video about this and that irritated Nicki a lot. “You can do with this information what you will,” said Pablo The Don on TikTok. “You will never ever catch me on Beyoncé’s internet airing out a Black woman in defense of a white woman when the topic of conversation is blackfishing and how racist that is.”

Naturally, Nicki Minaj’s fan base flooded his mentions and Nicki Minaj soon spoke out about that. She fired back in the comments to say: “STFU. Once again trying to get selective outrage from your followers. The TOPIC WASNT BLACKPHISHING. YALL LOVE USING THESE TRIGGER WORDS TO GET PPL BULLIED & TO HAVE PPL DRAG ME. YOU WERE PROBABLY BULLIED A LOT TOO. YOU MAKE VIDS IN YOUR BEDROOM [smiling emoji].”

Obviously, this controversy isn’t over yet. We’ll have to see if any more shots are fired in this situation, because the topic is certainly a touchy one.

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
