Smash Mouth has become a rather controversial band in recent memory and lead singer Steve Harwell isn’t afraid to call out a fan. He recently stopped a show in New York so he could threaten to kill one concert goer’s family and so much more.

A video has surfaced online showing the Smash Mouth singer stopping a concert while he slurred his words and seemingly threw up a Nazi salute to the crowd. A TikTok video from @doesthisfeelgood caught the whole event on camera.

The 54-year-old All Star singer was playing with his band at the Big Sip beer fest in Bethel, New York when this ordeal took place. The band had technical issues during their performance which is an irritating thing indeed. They struggled to play over a broken PA system, and Harwell kind of lost it.

He was seen dropping his drinks and swaying back and forth on stage. Then he flipped the bird and swore a few times. “I’ll f*cking kill your whole family, I swear to God,” he screamed at one fan. He also claimed that he would never leave the house if he could masturbate better.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
