Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the all-time greats in the world of professional basketball. James suffered a very nasty injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March and despite making a return, James simply hasn’t been the same since the injury.

Despite all this, King James remains one of the richest NBA players of all time and for good reason and there are not many who can argue against his contributions to the sport.

Lebron also has a good eye when it comes to talent as it seems James tried to recruit DeMar DeRozan, who is certainly having a great time as part of the Chicago Bulls.

While speaking with Shams Charania on Inside The Association, DeRozan talked about the situation. DeRozan stated that he did have talks with LeBron James about joining the Los Angeles Lakers but ultimately “it just didn’t work out.”

The NBA is all about getting the best players possible for their teams and it seems DeMar DeRozan simply wasn’t a priority for the Lakers.
