Russell Westbrook Brutally Roasted After Awful LA Lakers Debut

Russell Westbrook’s skills as a professional basketball player speak for themselves as he is a nine-time NBA All-Star and earned the NBA Most Valuable Player Award for the 2016–17 season.

Westbrook was acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this year and there were a lot of expectations from him. Unfortunately, it seems his debut did not go as expected.

The Lakers squared off against the Golden State Warriors on Friday night and the lineup included LeBron James and Russell Westbrook. Unfortunately, the Warriors won the game and Westbrook was simply terrible in the first quarter, giving up six turnovers in just nine minutes. 

Westbrook finished with just two points, four assists and seven rebounds. It was evident that he doesn’t have proper chemistry with LeBron James just yet. Fans took to Twitter and dragged Westbrook for his poor performance.
