Parenting is a tricky situation, especially if you’re co-parenting with your ex. Nick Cannon has a lot of kids and exes to worry about, including one upset pop diva, because he gave their kids cell phones.
In a preview clip of an upcoming episode of his daytime talk show, “Nick Cannon,” the comedian admitted that Mariah was pissed at him for giving their kids cellies. This didn’t go over well and she still uses it as a reason to be upset at him.
My oldest twins Roc and Roe wanted a cellphone at 8. And they have iPads and I was all for it. I’m all about it, but Mariah was like, ‘Uh-huh. They ain’t gonna be Googling us, nuh-uh, learning about all their new brothers and sisters, no we ain’t playing.'”
“I respected it at 8, but then so we kind of made a deal. We said at 10 then they can have it … [but] Mariah said, ‘Nuh-uh. No,'”
It’s okay if Nick Cannon upset Mariah Carey, because he can always learn from his mistakes. After all, he has five other kids with different mothers to annoy. He doesn’t seem too concerned that he upset Mariah either. Odds are she’s been plenty annoyed at him about other things in the past.
