Talk about couples goals. Jay-Z and Beyoncé could end up making history as they both could compete for the same award at the Oscars.

The 2022 Oscars are going to take place next march in Los Angeles. February 8 is the Oscars Nominations day, and fans are already looking forward to it as they realize the power couple of Jay-Z and Beyoncé could be nominated for an award in the same category: Best Original Song.

Beyoncé’s song “Be Alive” will be featured in the end of “Kind Richard” — Will Smith’s upcoming film. The song could land a best Original Song Oscar nomination. She co-wrote the song with Roc-Nation’s DIXSON.

Meanwhile Jay-Z is collabing with Kid Cudi for “Guns Go Bang”, which will be included in the all-black Western film “The Harder They Fall”. Jay Z is also a producer for this film.

However, the film’s OST features 16 tracks that could be submitted to the Oscars. There is only a limit of four names per song and two songs per film according to the submission rules. So we would have to wait and see which song could be up for nomination. “The Harder They Fall” is a song that is performed by Jamaican reggae singer Koffee that Jay-Z co-wrote, which can be up for nomination.
