Billie Eilish isn’t afraid to speak her mind and she couldn’t perform in Texas without saying something about their government’s shady and restrictive abortion law.

While performing at Austin City Limits, Billie stopped her set and she got on her soapbox. After admitting that she didn’t want to do a show in Texas after they passed that new law, she then went on to proclaim that it’s her body and her choice. She also used several colorful words to make her point.

“When they made that shit a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show, because I wanted to punish this f*cking place for allowing that to happen here, but then I remembered that it’s you guys that are the f*cking victims. And you deserve everything in the world.”

Texas’ abortion law was written by men and passed without oversight. A ton of people have already pointed out the lack of morality, compassion, and human decency that this law is comprised of. Obviously, Billie Eilish feels a certain way about things as well.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
