Daniel Craig made a name for himself for portraying the role of James Bond in the long-running franchise featuring the world’s most famous spy. Craig began his Bond journey with Casino Royale and will end it with No Time To Die this year.

Daniel Craig previously stated that he doesn’t want to see women portray James Bond as well as they deserve more important roles. With Craig stepping down as James Bond, many fans wonder who will end up replacing him. 

It was previously reported that Eon Productions, who have been responsible for producing the main branch of the 007 film franchise, aren’t in a hurry to find a replacement for Daniel Craig.

While speaking to GQ, Daniel Craig talked about his own version of James Bond in the long-running franchise and explained why his character never used as many gadgets as previous iterations of James Bond.

“I’ve loved the gadgets, but my take on them has always been they’ve got to be sort of just to be justified in the movie. You can’t really have gadgets for gadgets’ sake. They’ve got to make sense. They’ve got to be interesting.”

Craig also joked about Hugh Jackman replacing him as James Bond recentlyNo Time to Die will be releasing on October 8th and it remains to be seen how the film will be received by fans and critics alike when it releases this month.
