‘Saturday Night Live’ continues to be one of the longest-running shows in television right now and is also a huge part of pop culture, undergoing several changes over the past few decades.

Now it seems Beck Bennet, who joined the show back in 2013 is no longer part of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ having worked in it for eight seasons. Lauren Holt, who was a featured player last season, is also not coming back for the 47th season.

Beck Bennett took to his Instagram and showed his love and appreciation for the show and all the years he spent working there.

Despite the departures, the upcoming season will feature a largely intact cast for the second straight season as it will feature Aidy Bryant, Michael Che, Pete Davidson, Mikey Day, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Colin Jost, Kate McKinnon, Alex Moffat, Kyle Mooney, Ego Nwodim, Chris Redd, Cecily Strong, Kenan Thompson, Melissa Villaseñor and Bowen Yang, featuring Aristotle Athari, Andrew Dismukes, James Austin Johnson, Punkie Johnson and Sarah Sherman.

We will have to wait and see how the 47th season, which will air on October 2nd, fare as fans are certainly excited for it.
