Billie Eilish made headlines after she had styled her hair in a green shade. She rocked it for many years and the look caught on so much that she even made Ghost Green sneakers in collaboration with Air Jordan 1. However, she suddenly switched up her look all of the sudden.

Eilish’s fans were shocked after she suddenly changed her look and dyed her hair blonde. As Billie was featured on the cover of ELLE’s October 2021 issue, she revealed that coloring her hair blonde was a choice for reinvention.

The 19-year old singer said that the green hair were an integral part of her. She was immediately spotted whenever she went out, but she needed a sense of relief. She kept getting attention, and she decided to get rid of her characteristic look.

I couldn’t go anywhere with that hair because it was so obviously me. I wanted anonymity. I went to a park with a friend, and I was like, ‘No, I can’t take off my hood!’ I was terrified of the paparazzi and these stalkers I’ve had. But my friend was like, ‘Don’t worry: You’re okay. Nothing’s gonna happen.’ And I took my hood off, and I felt like a new person. I had no goal of ‘This is going to make everybody think differently of me.’ I’ve had different-colored hair and vibes for everything I’ve ever done. I wanted this album to have its own thing.

Billie Eilish recently spoke about how media has rid her of her confidence. It was revealed that the she has the largest vocabulary out of all modern artists. Eilish also spoke about how Justin Bieber was behind teaching her how to deal with fame.
