The Matrix Resurrections’ First Full Trailer Overdelivers

The Matrix saga will continue with “The Matrix Resurrections,” and tons of fans are prepared to pick apart the 4th movie’s trailer in epic fashion, looking for hints at what is to come.

Neo finds himself back in the Matrix, even after the events of the first three films. That reboot at the end of Revolutions worked and now things are back to the way they are “supposed to be.” Suddenly, Neo noticed that everyone is addicted to their phones.

He meets Trinity, but they have no memory of each other. This strange meeting is followed by an adventure back to the “real world” where we discover that the sentinels are still doing their thing against the human race.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is taking on the Morpheus role in this film, a reincarnation that draws direct correlation from and event in The Matrix Online game. After all, everything in the Matrix franchise is canon.

You can check out the new trailer below. There are certain to be plenty of doubters, but the hype for the December 22nd film is absolutely there.
