It’s been three long years since Lamar was on the Billboard charts, but he’s still been grinding. His 2017 studio album DAMN reached the charts, but that was his last outing to see any love from the renowned ranking system.

We’re not sure when Kendrick Lamar’s next record will drop, but he’s been working hard. He also has some serious momentum coming his way which is never a bad thing. Family Ties landed in the #18 spot on Billboard. That was Keem’s first time on the charts.

Family Ties saw a great reception so far. Only time will tell what Lamar drops next, because he is known to take his time with his art.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
