Zooey Deschanel’s Boyfriend Says He Is ‘Dating Up’

Zooey Deschanel’s boyfriend Jonathan Scott is a lucky man and he realizes it. The New Girl Star and her man have been an item for two years, and he is proud of “dating up.”

Scott, 42, knows a good thing when he sees it. He recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight where he admitted that he “dated up” when getting with the Elf star.

“We just celebrated our second anniversary, yeah, and I know I am dating up.”

Deschanel, 41, and Scott have a good life together. He plans “to keep raising the bar and keep up with those expectations.”

The couple has been through a lot, including the pandemic. They’re still going strong as well, and they’re not shy about opening up about their happiness. Some might envy them, at least Scott likely expects plenty of men to feel a tinge of jealousy.
