Update: Dean has now denied leaving the Donda album, but he didn’t call cap on tweeting and deleting about the record making process being “toxic.”

Original: Kanye West has a very good mind when it comes to business, as the rapper has built his own empire. However, he is not all that great when it comes to releasing music on time. A recent rumor regarding his upcoming ‘Donda’ album was also blamed on hackers. His people skills could use some work as well.

Mike Dean has been instrumental in Kanye West’s career as he has overseen West’s albums as a producer and made sure the albums were the best they could be. Dean is a veteran in the industry and has worked with the who’s who of the music industry.

Many fans noticed how hard Dean was working with Kanye West on his ‘Donda’ album, but now it seems that is no longer the case. Dean took to Twitter and announced that he was no longer in Atlanta working on the album, citing a toxic working environment as the reason for his departure.

As fans were discussing Dean’s departure from Donda, one said that the environment feels toxic. “Toxic, that’s it,” Dean chimed in before eventually deleting that tweet.

In related news, the upcoming ‘Donda’ album received a new description on Apple Music, which confirmed that the album will drop, just not when.

“Yeezy’s 10th solo album features a wealth of some of the MC’s favorite voices.”

Kanye West’s upcoming album is set to drop on August 15th this time. We will have to wait and see if Kanye West finally drops the ‘Donda’ album as fans are getting impatient.
