Francis Ngannou Sends A Message To Ciryl Gane After UFC 265

Francis Ngannou defeated Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 260 earlier in the year and since then Jon Jones has set his sights on facing Ngannou for the title.

However, a lot of drama ensued when it came to actually make the fight happen as Jones had revealed in the past that he felt undervalued and simply wanted to be paid better for the fight. Ultimately, it stated that he will not be facing Ngannou anytime soon as Ngannou was set to face Derrick Lewis this Summer.

That also ended up changing previously as UFC President Dana White announced an interim heavyweight title fight between Darrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane for UFC 265. This was done after Ngannou informed the promotion that he won’t be able to compete by August.

At UFC 265, Ciryl Gane and Darrick Lewis finally clashed for the UFC interim heavyweight title and for many, it was a one-sided beatdown as Gane made short work of Lewis, winning by TKO in the third round. Thus he became the new UFC interim heavyweight champion.

After the conclusion of the fight, UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou took to Twitter and sent a message to his next opponent Ciryl Gane. Ngannou said Gane is a legit contender and that he will see him soon.

We will have to wait and see when Ciryl Gane and Francis Ngannou will clash for the UFC Heavyweight Championship as it will undoubtedly be a big money fight with history behind it.
