OJ Simpson was acquitted for the double murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. That legendary trial has seen documentaries, dramatizations, and many law school papers written about it. The glove didn’t fit, so they did acquit. That means the “real killer” is still on the loose, right?

Simpson seems to think that he might have a target on him. While speaking to The Atlantic, the controversial sports star said that he stays out of Los Angeles. There is still a killer out there and he doesn’t’ want to be next!

“I have trouble with L.A. […] People may think this is self-serving, but I might be sitting next to whoever did it. I really don’t know who did this.”

“I figured eventually somebody would confess to something, you know? I had one suspect I told my lawyers to look at. I still think he might be involved, but I can’t talk about it.”

It stands to reason that OJ Simpson is still looking over his shoulder, but a killer likely isn’t coming for him. We’ll have to see if he ever changes his mind, but staying out of LA this many years later adds another level of commitment to his version of events.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
