First Look At CM Punk In Starz’ Series ‘Heels’

CM Punk is making a return to pro wrestling, but fans will be able to watch him in two different incarnations very soon. The rumors are strong and reports have been stated that Punk signed with AEW. He also has a guest starring role in the next season of Heels.

Punk will play a character named “Ricky Rabies.” It is unknown how much he will be featured, but Rabies will be around for at least one episode. He is seen smiling away with Stephen Amell, who is sporting a bloody face.

Yes, the blood on Amell’s face is fake. His smile probably wouldn’t be so big if he was really busted open. Still, it gives us a look at CM Punk in his upcoming role, one that could have helped stir the urge to make a pro wrestling return.

Heels follows the Duffy Wrestling League, operated by to brothers. The pro wrestling world can be a complicated and cutthroat place to operate, and CM Punk knows all about that. Odds are he fit right in. The first season of Heels debuts on August 15th.
