Pop sensation Britney Spears is certainly a controversial figure in the music world, going back to her 2007 meltdown and her father then moving to form a conservatorship around Spears’ estate.

Britney Spears finally spoke out against her father’s conservatorship on June 23rd addressing a Los Angeles Superior Court judge via video. For a long time, Britney Spears has been working hard to get her father out of her life. Spears compared her father to a “sex trafficker” and said that “he loved” having control over her.

was previously reported that Britney Spears doesn’t want to be scared to speak amid her conservatorship case. According to HollywoodLife, Britney Spears Britney is taking the next court date “very seriously” as she is taking a break in Hawaii.

“Britney has been in Hawaii to relax and not be hounded by the press as much. Her team thought it would be a good idea for her to go to one of her favorite places and be away from everything for a bit as she prepares for the next upcoming court date in September. They are hard at work preparing for her now.”

It was further stated that Britney Spears is very much looking forward to the next court date for her conservatorship case.

She’s taking it very, very seriously. She wants nothing more than to be able to make her own choices and decisions and it’s as simple as that. She knows how important this date is for her freedom.”

She feels she’s finally in a position where she can have that freedom so having a clear head and laying low is best for right now. She’s in a much calmer, better state than she was a month ago.” Adding that Britney is “very much looking forward” to the court date, the source said, “She’s feeling like she has a good shot to finally live her life the way she feels she deserves.”

Britney Spears’ new attorney previously made a big move in the ongoing conservatorship battle. We will have to wait and see what happens in the ongoing conservatorship case and hope Britney Spears will finally be free from her father’s clutches for good.
