Mia Khalifa and her husband of two years have not been able to make it work. She dropped the big announcement on social media that they have split up, but the two tried to make it work.

Mia Khalifa and her husband, Los Angeles chef Robert Sandberg have made it official that their marriage is over. The former adult film actress made this big announcement on Instagram with a text graphic so she could make sure that there was no limit to what she had to say.

“We can confidently say we gave it our all in making our marriage work, but after almost a year of therapy and efforts, we are walking away knowing we have a friend for life in each other, and that we truly tried. We will always love and respect each other because we know that not one isolated incident caused our split, but rather, a culmination of unresolvable, fundamental differences that no one can blame the other for.”

“We are closing this chapter with no regrets and both starting our own, separately, but connected through incredible family, friends, and love for our dogs. This has been long overdue, but we’re glad we took our time and gave it our all, and can walk away saying we tried our absolute hardest.

The couple is splitting up, and that might mean that Mia Khalifa’s DMs are going to explode more than ever. They tried to patch things up, but they just couldn’t make things work out. Now they are moving on, but it seems like the situation isn’t a messy one at this point.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
