Eminem has inspired many people during his decades in the entertainment industry. Some who were influenced by Slim Shady have even been granted the privilege of working with him. Ed Sheeran worked with Eminem on “River,” and his life hasn’t been the same since.

While speaking to Sirius XM, Ed Sheeran discussed his experience with Marshall Mathers. He said that Eminem’s work ethic and 9 to 5 attitude about his music went on to change the way he sees things. Where some artists work crazy schedules in the studio, Eminem looks at it as more of a job.

I actually got the idea from Eminem, working with Eminem. He works 9 to 5. Goes in, does a studio, goes home. And if you spend a lot of time around artists, there’s quite a transient existence of studio, and a studio time can run till 4 am, and then you’re late for this, and you’re doing this… It’s good to have structure.

We’ll have to see if Eminem and Ed Sheeran work together again in the future. Odds are the two could make even more magic in the studio. It seems that Eminem’s approach to making music works well for him since he is still producing fire with every drop he decides to release. It turns out that Slim Shady isn’t grinding away into the early morning hours to lay that genius on his tracks.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
