Kim Kardashian Gets Big Props From Dolly Parton

Kim Kardashian knows how to get attention on social media and she recently drew the attention of one legend after pulling a quote.

In a recent Instagram post, Kim Kardashian released a poolside bikini phot along with a caption saying: “‘Don’t get too busy making a living that you forget to work on making a life’- Dolly Parton. Friendly reminder to always take a little time for yourself”.

Then Dolly herself saw Kim Kardashian’s post. “You’re doing great sweetie,” the legendary country music singer replied. This was certainly high praise from Dolly Parton, a woman who is seen as an idol across culture, just like Kardashian.

Fans flooded that comment with their own nod about how “epic” and “iconic” Parton’s response was. This was also seen as tongue-in-cheek by some fans, but Parton could have been sincere as well.

It’s nice to see when icons give nods to those who are currently walking the trail that they blazed. Dolly Parton doesn’t hope on social media to drop many comments, so this was a pretty special deal.
