Conor McGregor Tells Dustin Poirier To Enjoy His Illegitimate Win

The rivalry between Conor Mcgregor and Dustin Poirier reached a whole new level as it culminated in the main event of UFC 264, as the two fighters took each other on in the highly anticipated fight.

In a very shocking finish to the fight, Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round and Dustin Poirier was declared the winner via TKO after the fight ended due to doctor’s stoppage.

Many fans felt dejected by the outcome of the fight, but also made sure to laugh at Conor McGregor failing to win due to the unexpected injury. He was carried out on a stretcher, a fact that didn’t leave Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor underwent a 3.5-hour-long surgery to repair his fractured ankle. After his surgery, Conor McGregor took to Twitter and uploaded a video, as he told Dustin Poirier to celebrate his illegitimate win.

“Dustin, you can celebrate your illegitimate win all you want. But, you done nothing in there. That second round would’ve shown all. And, you know, onwards and upwards we go, team. We dust ourselves off, we build ourselves back, and we come back better than ever. Let’s go, team!”

Conor McGregor is set to face off against Dustin Poirier in their fourth bout whenever he is ready to do so. We wonder if the outcome will be any different next time.
