Dolph Ziggler Teamed Up With John Cena In WWE Because He Needed The Money

Dolph Ziggler is touted as being one of the top in-ring workers in the company, making sure to give it his all and make any opponent look good in the process. However, many fans have said over the years that Ziggler is underrated and has not been utilized to the best of his potential

He is one of the mainstays of Friday Night Smackdown right now and at one point in his career, Dolph Ziggler used to regularly team up with John Cena as a babyface.

One such occasion was the 2015 WWE Beast In The East event that took place in Tokyo, Japan. There, Ziggler and John Cena teamed up with squared off against Kane and King Barrett in a tag team match. Ziggler and Cena won the match in the end and saw  Cena raising Ziggler’s hand after the win.

Dolph Ziggler took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of that particular moment and sent out three vomiting emojis to the caption and also joked that he was young and needed the money.

“I was young…I needed the money,”

Dolph Ziggler certainly had a lot of career highs in the company, but he remains one of the most underappreciated WWE Superstars even now. Unfortunately, it also seems that WWE isn’t even selling merchandise for him.
