Megan Thee Stallion gets a ton of activity on Twitter, but sometimes that engagement can be too much to handle. She has been known to take breaks from Twitter, and sometimes she doesn’t necessarily make those decisions public. Thee Stallion just decides not to log in for an extended period of time, but there is a reason for that.

Her recent hiatus following the 2021 Grammy Awards didn’t last long, but it was still needed. Now she is back and rumors about her appearing in the She-Hulk franchise are rampant.

In response to a fan’s clever reply to a tweet, Megan Thee Stallion tweeted out to say, “Why you think I don’t love y’all lol.” This was followed by a fan asking her about taking a Twitter break. Apparently, some fans are feeling a bit abandoned on Twitter. Her reply was quite simple, because the app is simply full of too many lies.

Like people lie on this app and believe they own lie so hard they argue for a week straight under a thread…

One fan replied to say that Twitter is full of “toxic sh*t,” and Megan replied to say, “Like people lie on this app and believe they own lie so hard they argue for a week straight under a thread…”

She might take breaks from Twitter and that’s a very good idea, especially for someone who gets as much attention online as Megan Thee Stallion does. There are always going to be people trying to rain on your parade, and Megan has a way of logging off to recharge. There’s no faulting her for that.

What’s your take on taking breaks from Twitter? Sound off in the comments!

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
