Crime is rampant nowadays as people have to always be careful that someone will steal something that isn’t theirs. Recent robberies of LA Lakers’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Fashion Nova CEO Richard Saghian might be connected according to authorities.

A few high-profile robberies were reported last week that police now say might be connected. This included Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Fashion Nova CEO Richard Saghian. Those violent robberies, both at gunpoint, have LAPD looking for similarities and they seem to be onto smething.

Both robberies exhibit similarities. Saghian was trailed by three gunmen in the early morning on June 25th in Hollywood Hills. The gunmen then forced themselves into the Fashion Nova CEO’s Rolls Royce before stripping his entire entourage of their jewelry. Saghian returned home safely, but his security guard was hospitalized due to a gunshot wound.

Caldwell-Pope was targeted by a similar group of gunmen. He was outside of his L.A. home the previous week. Suspects stole a Rolex, jewelry, and an iPhone after they jumped Pope and his friends in his driveway during the early morning.

Police are looking for connections, but so far they have not come up with any culprits yet.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
