Kodak Black deleted his Instagram and Twitter accounts on June 30th. That is the same day he dropped videos showing him wasting money. Those videos went over like a lead balloon.

One video on Twitter showed Black flushing hundreds of dollars down a toilet. A second video that he posted on Instagram showed the rapper throwing thousands off of a boat. Those videos were panned by fans when he showed such a lavish and wasteful personality as so many of his fans could have used that money he was literally destroying.

The interesting part is that Kodak Black left Twitter and Instagram, but there was almost no outcry. Few fans wondered where he went, and those who did notice he was gone didn’t really comment on the fact.

We’ll have to see if he returns to social media down the line. Right now it seems like he’s taking a break from social media. He’s still around and likely to pop up in a controversial article where he’s doing something or sharing a hot take.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
