Britney Spears is still under her conservatorship and that controversy has not stopped at all. If anything, Spears is fighting even harder as she brought her wishes out in a very public way. Then a judge denied her request to remove her father from that restrictive conservatorship once again.

Some fans are apparently taking this situation very seriously. They are sending hatful messages to anyone who they believe is keeping Spears in this situation. It also seems that death threats are not out of the realm of possibility either.

Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney’s sister, had to put up an Instagram story where she begged fans to stop sending death threats to her and her children over this situation. She seems to appreciate the idea of people expressing themselves, but there is another way to go about things.

“Hi, I respect that everyone has the right to express themselves, but can we please stop with the death threats, especially the death threats to children. JLS.”

The Zoey 101 actress’ statement was heard by a lot of fans, but we’re not 100% if that will squelch those fans who want to see Britney Spears freed from her conservatorship. Some fans are taking this situation very seriously as they have been fighting for Britney’s freedom for a while now.

What’s your take on this situation and fans taking it too far with death threats.
