Soulja Boy and Bow Wow threw down in a Verzuz rap battle, but the show almost didn’t happen at all. There was an issue with security and Soulja Boy threatened to walk out.

Newly surfaced video shows Soulja Boy threatening to leave the Verzuz battle before the doors even opened. Security wouldn’t let his crew in and he wasn’t having it. Video captured Soulja Boy making it very clear to security that he was walking if they didn’t let his artists in.

“Listen, listen, check this, right? I don’t know who you tell, but if they don’t let my artists in I’m gonna leave right now and there won’t be no live or no event or nothing.”

“I don’t know what they got, but you won’t let them in. Naw, they’re going back to the dressing room with me, these ain’t no fans! These are my artists, yo. So, open this f*cking gate and come on, bro.”

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
