Britney Spears is under a terrible stranglehold on her life. She is still in a conservatorship that her father and sister control. Now she wants out and those cries for help have been made very public already.

Christina Aguilera and Spears came up in the Mickey Mouse Club, but they both became rivals on the pop charts. Years later, Christina Aguilera can see what Spears went through and what she is still struggling with to this day. For Aguilera, it is 100% unacceptable.

While using her Instagram story, Aguilera posted a lengthy message in support of freeing Britney Spears from her restrictive conservatorship.

These past few days I’ve been thinking about Britney and everything she is going through.

It is unacceptable that any woman, or human, wanting to be in control of their own destiny might not be allowed to live life as they wish.

To be silenced, ignored, bullied or denied support by those “close” to you is the most depleting, devastating and demeaning thing imaginable. The harmful mental and emotional damage this can take on a human spirit is nothing to be taken lightly Every woman must have the right to her own body, her own reproductive system, her own privacy, her own space, her own healing and her own happiness

A conservatorship is a very serious legal situation and it will take a lot to get her out of this situation. Spears’ attorney would be better off to seek small lifting of restrictions while they argue this case, because it might take a long time to figure out. Britney Spears also might be required to take a phycological exam to prove that she is no longer a threat or harm to anyone.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
