Jackass became a household name after making its debut back in 2000 on MTV and took the entire world by storm and spawned an entire generation of imitators, both professional and amateur.

The numerous death-defying and outright dangerous stunts in the name of entertainment have kept fans coming back for more over the years. The last time the Jackass crew were shown on the big screen was back in 2010’s Jackass 3D.

Thankfully, a fourth film will be releasing eventually as Jackass 4 promises to be the most outrageous movie yet. With the Discovery Channel set to kick off a new edition of its famous Shark Week on July 11, it seems the Jackass crew will be involved this time around.

According to a report by EW, the Jackass Shark Week Special will bring Jackass co-founder Johnny Knoxville as well as fan favorites Steve-O, Chris Pontius, and some new cast members into a whole new world of shark goodness. The special will be airing on the first day of Shark Week, which is July 11, at 10 PM/ET.

Johnny Knoxville sends Steve-O, Chris Pontius, and new Jackass cast members on a Shark Week mission for the ages. They’ll dial up a series of shark stunts that test their bravery and threshold of pain as they put common shark myths to the test with the help of Dr. Craig O’Connell.

With Jackass 4 set to release on October 22, 2021, there is no doubt the cast making their Shark week special appearance will increase the anticipation for the upcoming film. We will have to see how the film will turn out to be when it releases next year.
