The Fast & Furious franchise is undoubtedly one of the most popular action franchises to have ever been released in movie theatres. Many fans would agree that it is essentially Vin Diesel’s series at this point.
Vin Diesel’s character Dom Toretto has been a highlight since the very first movie and in the Fast & Furious 9 film, fans will get to know more about Toretto. Despite the 9th film already set to release this week, Fast & Furious 10 is already in the works. In addition, at least two more spin-off movies are currently being planned.
Many fans have been wondering just how the main franchise will end Dom Toretto’s story as a whole. While speaking to Collider, Vin Diesel revealed that he already knows how the Fast & Furious franchise will end and stated that he and director Justin Lin have worked hard to make sure the film reaches that narrative conclusion.
I have a scene that’s recurring [in my mind] and has been for many years now of what I’ve always imagined what the finale of the finale would be. And Justin [Lin] and I have talked to great lengths and we worked towards that. So much of ‘F9’ is getting prepped and ready for a two-part finale of the saga. So, could I articulate it now or would I articulate it now? I might not be able to do that, but what’s unique about this release is that we clearly had to push the release a year. And that pushed into our preproduction of this two-part ‘Fast’ finale. So, every day, I’m coming to talk about ‘Fast 9’ and going home to work on ‘Fast 10.’
Fast & Furious 9 is set to release on June 25 in the USA and fans are undoubtedly looking forward to seeing what will happen in the film. We will have to see how the film will fare in the end.
