6ix9ine boasts about having massive amounts of wealth, but his estranged father is not doing that well. Despite having a rap star for a son, 6ix9ine’s father is a bit homeless at the moment.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s father, Daniel Hernandez, is now homeless. This was proven in video obtained by Page Six. The famous rapper’s father has been living in a homeless shelter for over two years.

When asked why he’s in a homeless shelter, 6ix9ine’s 60-year-old father replied:

“Because I don’t have an apartment, he doesn’t know that I’m in the shelter. Now he’s going to know I’ve been here for, what, two years already?”

“You think he’d come hook me up with something. He’s been giving money to other people. … He gives money to everybody. ‘Here, here, here.’”

It seems that 6ix9ine and his father don’t have the best relationship. If they were tighter then he probably wouldn’t be living in a homeless shelter. 6ix9ine brags about rolling in money and how much he makes per appearance, but he’s not sharing with his dear old dad.

His father claimed that his son doesn’t know he’s in a homeless shelter, but now he will. We’ll have to see if he gets some help. 6ix9ine often loves playing the part of a villain, and this will likely do a lot to help that narrative.
