Kanye West isn’t afraid to take someone to court and he’s suing a huge target this time around. Ye is taking on the kind of all big box stores: WalMart.

The retail giant is selling a pair of shoes that look very similar to those ugly Yeezy shoes. Kanye is proud of that crazy design and he’s taking Walmart to court over it. Walmart is claiming that they had nothing to do with the knockffs.

The retail chain claims that a third party seller created the Yeezy knockoff foam shoes and they are selling that. That didn’t stop Kanye from laying down a lawsuit claiming an infringement on is intellectual property.

Yeezy has turned his brand into a billion-dollar property. This is not what he wanted for his brand at all, and now Walmart will have a legal battle on their hands. Walmart released a statement saying:

“The product referenced in the complaint is not sold by Walmart, but rather by third party Marketplace sellers. We take allegations like this seriously and are reviewing the claim. We will respond in court as appropriate after we have been served with the complaint.”

The image below shows an obvious rip-off of Yeezy’s Foam Runner, a pretty recognizable shoe. Kanye West is seeking unspecified damages for this knockoff shoe.
