Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is set to drop on Friday, July 23rd and fans got a full trailer today. WWE fans noticed a familar face during that video as well.

WWE released Mojo Rawley from his contract recently. He is still under his 90-day non-compete clause, but he is set to appear on the Silver Screen before that date is even up.

Rawley, Dean Muhtadi, is in the new Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins film. He can be seen in the trailer fighting Henry Golding at the beginning of the trailer. We’re not sure how large of a role Mojo Rawley has in this new film, but the GI Joe franchise is a great notch on his acting resume.

This appears to be Mojo’s first big project since leaving WWE. He was with the company since 2012, but released in April during sweeping cuts due to budget reasons.

We’ll have to see if this is the first of many acting gigs to come, but now we know what Mojo Rawley was up to during some of the time he was with WWE, but not appearing on television. You can check out the trailer below.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
