Kevin Durant is undoubtedly one of the most popular basketball players in the world right now. The Brooklyn Nets star had previously won two championships with the Golden State Warriors and there is no doubt he will win more in the future.

Kevin Durant recently had a stellar performance where he against the Milwaukee Bucks, Kevin Durant put up 49 points on 16-of-23 shooting with 17 rebounds and 10 assists during incredible outing.

However, during the Nets’ game against the Bucks in Game 7, despite Durant landing an impossible shot, it ended up costing the Nets the series. With one second remaining in regulation, Durant hit a shot over PJ Tucker and tied the game to 109.

While Kevin Durant did make the shot, his  toe was just on the three-point line, so instead of winning the game, the jumper led to the teams playing an overtime period.

The Brooklyn Nets struggled in overtime as the lost to the Bucks as the finals core was 115-111 in the Bucks’ favor. After the game, Durant was asked about the jumper shot, and blamed his size 18 sneakers for being the reason that the Nets’ season is over.

Kevin Durant said that he initially thought his shot at the end of regulation was a three. “But my big ass foot stepped on the line,” Durant said, in part. “I just saw how close I was to ending their season with that shot.”

Despite not being able to win the game, Kevin Durant scored 48 points, which is a Game 7 record. It goes to show Durant will continue to shine and be touted as one of the greatest players in the history of professional basketball as the sky is simply the limit for him, even in defeat.
