The Phoenix Suns were dealt a very big blow when Chris Paul was pulled from action. The famous baller tested positive for COVID-19. This reportedly came after he was already vaccinated.

The Suns were living on cloud nine when the took out the LA Lakers. That happy news didn’t stick around forever in Phoenix. Arizona Sports reporter John Gambadoro reports that Chris Paul is out of action after testing positive for COVID-19.

According to ESPN’s Jalen Rose, Paul was vaccinated, but he still caught COVID. This is a rare situation, but not impossible as we are now seeing in this case. He has to sit out of action until that positive test is no longer a factor.

We’re looking at a 10 to 14 day window for Paul’s return, depending on when he finally tests negative. Getting vaccinated was a big step, but he obviously exposed himself to the virus in some way.

The Suns will miss Chris Paul in a big way. He’s been pulling down, on average, 15.7 points per game in postseason play. Obviously, they need their star, but he has a COVID situation to take care of first.
