Kodak Black isn’t afraid to draw a bunch of controversy. He has now decided to mention Cardi B in a song, fully expecting the attention of her dedicated fans. We’ll have to see how this works out for him.

The Trump-pardoned rapper, who still loves Trump, fired off a line dedicated to Cardi in his new song Feelin’ Peachy. In this song, Kodak Black raps that he’s been getting a lot of money recently and then mentioned Cardi B while saying “I hope you like your bracelet.”

“Dogging on these b*tches, I got rabies / Hitting her from the back, I told her face me / I been getting a lot of money lately / Cardi B, I hope you like your bracelet / Shawty say I’m handsome for a Haitian”

This wasn’t really a diss because he really did buy her a bracelet. It was pretty pricey and totally iced out as well. It also comes with a bit of tongue-in-cheek because of the role that Kodak Black had in Cardi B’s rise to fame. Black has a songwriting credit on Bodak Yellow, after all.

We’ll have to see if Cardi B answers back to Kodak Black in her own verse down the line. In the meantime, this was a pretty clever little namedrop.

What’s your take on Kodak Black and Cardi B? Do the owe anything to each other?
