Drake has a ton of cash to throw around and Architectural Digest just uncovered a huge purchase that he made. Sleep is a very important part of anyone’s life, and Drizzy did not skimp out at all.

To go along with his Olympic sized pool, NBA-sized indoor basketball court, and other stunning features in his home, Drake also sleeps like one of the elites. That mattress he has cost $400,000, and it is constructed out of some very fine materials.

Drake’s $400k mattress is made out of horsehair and stingray skin. Yes, that is correct. It currently retails at $395,000, a custom design from Ferris Rafauli. That mattress surfaced online and plenty of fans had to comment.

The mattress is heavy, around half a ton, and it took over 600 hours of hand-done work to complete.

Drizzy explained that the mattress allows him to “decompress from the world at the end of the night and [it’s] where I open my eyes to seize the day.” It also “lets you float.” For $400k, that mattress better let you fly.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
